German Course for Children
ABOUT THE COURSE
This course is a specially designed, fun German beginner programme for Year 3 and Year 4 pupils aged 8–10. Lessons use games, songs, stories and visual activities to help children learn the language naturally.
The aim is to get children interested in German and make the learning process an enjoyable experience. In each lesson, children learn new words, practise speaking with short dialogues and reinforce what they have learnt with colourful activities.
THE PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The main objective of this programme is for children to recognise German as a natural means of communication, learn basic vocabulary and sentence structures, and develop a positive attitude towards language learning. By the end of the course, students will:
• Able to introduce themselves,
• Be able to name colours, numbers, animals and objects,
• Be able to use everyday expressions with simple sentences,
• They reach a level where they can sing short songs and understand simple instructions.
EDUCATIONAL METHOD
Lessons are prepared taking into account children's attention spans and learning styles. The learning process is made both effective and enjoyable through play-based learning, visual materials, picture cards, short animated videos, simple songs and drama activities.
The topics covered each week progress from simple to complex, in line with the children's age. Parents can also track their children's progress through weekly updates.
WHY THIS COURSE?
This course aims not only to teach children German, but also to help them gain self-confidence, develop a positive attitude towards language learning and acquire a multicultural perspective. Thanks to fun content and a loving learning environment, children learn the language not as a subject, but as something they enjoy, like a game.
