Provisions to be Considered in the Application:

Within the scope of the Right to Information Law No. 4982 published in the official gazette Dated 24.10.2003 and numbered 25269, the information acquisition department has been established by our University in order to accept the applications of natural and legal persons to our institution and to present all kinds of information or documents in accordance with the law for the benefit of applicants. The application for obtaining information must relate to information or documents that are in the hands of the applied institutions and organizations or that must be found in accordance with their duties. Application Procedure: Application for obtaining information to be made by natural and legal persons; For natural persons, the name of the applicant, the place of residence, for legal entities, the title of the legal entity, the address and the information acquisition units of the institutions and organizations where the requested information or document is located are made with the petition containing the authorization document. Applications to be made Electronically: Applications to be made by electronic mail, by filling out the relevant petitions published on the institution's page, the applicant's name, surname, place of residence, T.C is made by specifying the identification number. The nature of the information or documents to be requested: The nature of the information or documents to be requested The Application for Obtaining Information must relate to the documents that are or should be in the hands of the institutions and organizations applied for. However, it is essential that whether the information or documents requested by the petition are in the records of institutions and organizations, the process of providing access to information and documents does not disrupt the daily work of the institution or organization and does not impose an unreasonable burden on the institution. Information and documents published or disclosed to the public: Information and documents published by institutions and organizations or disclosed to the public through publications, brochures, advertisements and similar means cannot be the subject of information acquisition applications. Prohibition of publishing information and documents: According to the regulation, press organs may not reproduce or use information and documents accessed within the framework of the procedures and principles specified in the Law and regulation for commercial purposes. It cannot publish the information and document without the permission of the institution and organization providing it. Acceptance, evaluation and processing of applications: It is essential to make an application in accordance with the law in order to accept application petitions. In order to complete the petition, assistance is requested from the information acquisition authority in institutions and organizations. For applications to be made in electronic environment, T.C After the identity number is checked and verified, the petition is processed. Assistance to applicants: The officials in the Information Acquisition unit are obliged to assist and guide the applicant so that they can use the rights they have. Applications within the framework of the right to information law can be made to public institutions in four ways. The requested information or document is notified to the applicant before the end of the 15 working days period. If it concerns more than one institution and organization, access to the information or document is provided within 30 working days. In this case, the extension of this period and the justification for it shall be notified to the applicant before the end of 15 working days.
