Every single word in the 5,000 texts contained in the database has been individually annotated and categorised. The database provides a comprehensive resource for researchers working on processed texts in Ottoman Turkish, Azerbaijani Turkish, the dialects of Anatolia and the Balkans, as well as Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Crimean, Uzbek and Turkmen Turkish.
Lehçediz enables users to search texts produced not only in the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans, but also across a vast geographical area extending as far as Central and East Asia.
