Great Success with Concrete Canoe: BAUN Team Turkey Runner-up
May June 31st–June 1st, 2025 BAUN Concrete Canoe Team, consisting of students of Balıkesir University (BAUN) Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, achieved a great success in the national competition “Concrete Canoe Competition 2025” hosted by Istanbul Technical University.
The team, Res. See. He participated in the competition with his concrete canoes named “Yoma” prepared under the supervision of Oğuz Köse and won the second prize to Balıkesir University.
In the competition, which aims to encourage the development of engineering students of universities in the fields of design, production and teamwork by bringing them together, BAUN Concrete Canoe Team once again showed Decider success with its performance.
The BAÜN Concrete Canoe Team successfully represents BAÜN in national and international competitions.
