Important Study from Balikesir University Academicians: Effects of Aspirin Supplementation on White Striping and Performance in Broiler Chickens

Dr. Yasin Baykalir stated that the study indicated that the administration of low-dose aspirin (ASA) improved the quality of breast meat in broiler chickens, reduced inflammation and November muscle degeneration. He also stated that ASA reduces the incidence of white striping (WS) with an increase in VEGF and a decrease in iris levels and supports growth performance. However, he warned that high doses and long-term use of ASA can negatively affect the quality of meat and increase the risk of sole dermatitis.
